It is hard to believe that May is our last month of school! It has been such a great year and has flown by so quickly. We have many wonderful things planned for our last month of school and then we will wrap things up with our school picnic!

We will continue our Construction Unit for the first two weeks of the month. We will be focusing on construction jobs and how many people it takes to make something! Everyone has a very important job, like the carpenters, bricklayers, roofers and machine operators. The children will let their creativity take over when we build a truck the following week! It will be great to see what they come up with. The “giants” come next, like cranes, excavators and bulldozers! Our last week of school will be filled with fun activities (hopefully) outdoors! We are looking forward to our school picnic at Cooper Park.
