During the school year we see a tremendous amount of growth and development in our students as children hit many developmental milestones between the ages of 3 and 5. Many parents wonder how their child is adjusting to the school environment and want to know if there is anything they can work on with their child at home. We have two opportunities to sit down and partner with parents for the child’s success during the school year. In October, we host an informal Parent/Teacher Meet and Greet. In January, we host a formal Parent/Teacher Conference. Of course, teachers are available after class to meet with parents to touch base on how their child is doing.

Throughout the school year the teachers observe and assess each child for growth and development. Some specific areas we are assessing are social/emotional development, communication, and play behaviors. We focus on sharpening our student’s kindergarten readiness skills and a lifelong love of learning.
